Journal entry February 20, 2014... "A couple days ago I kept hearing in my head the song "We Are The Champions" by Queen. As I would hear the song I remembered back when Jen went to state in track and won. During that time I put some pictures on the internet of the "Big Win". One picture was of Jen holding up the trophy as the song played. Today a man put up a video speaking of these end times being like a sport we are fighting to win and how satan works to defeat and bloody us up. Then he plays the "We Are The Champions" song with changed lyrics...
He gave His life, there on the cross
Sentenced to death, but committed no crime
He rose again, In Victory!
He said the price for our sins
and He did it to set us all free!
Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!

If we persevere we will receive our crown, scripture says so:
Hebrews 12:1 - "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us."
While thinking of what it means to persevere I randomly opened my Holy Spirit book to:
"I know sometimes you feel like giving up. But don't give up. No, don't give up. Instead, surrender. Don't bow to the pressures of the enemy to quit. Surrender fully with all that you are and all that you have - to Father's will. Surrender to His perfect plan. Surrender to His word. Surrender to His ways, just surrender.
Say it now... I surrender. Surrender brings freedom and delivers you from the temptation to quit and give up. Abandon yourself to the Father whole heartily and don't look back."
Day to day life at times can be discouraging. Some days it can be hard to just place one foot in front of the other. It can be especially hard when we can't see the whole picture. When we're missing puzzle pieces. However, our Father has it already figured out. He has a most perfect plan for us. But, we must continue and never quit. Have hope..."You are very blessed My child, very blessed! You have a crown awaiting you. I see you already wearing it. This crown will not be snatched from you! It is yours forever. They are all here waiting for you and yours (I envisioned a row of many crowns). They are for you and yours! (Oct. 13, 2014)
By surrendering to our Father's will... we win! No doubt about it. By faithfully staying true to Him and never quitting... we win! No doubt about it. If we finish our race, we will receive our crown. Our Father said so.
We are the Champions, my friend!
