Prayer for the Intercession of St. Padre Pio

Dear God, You generously blessed your servant, St. Pio of Pietrelcina, with the gifts of the Spirit.  You marked his body with the five wounds of Christ Crucified, as a powerful witness to the saving Passion and Death of Your Son.  Endowed with the gift of discernment, St. Pio labored endlessly in the confessional for the salvation of souls.  With reverence and intense devotion in the celebration of Mass, he invited countless men and women to a greater union with Jesus Christ in the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.

Through the intercession of St. Pio of Pietrelcina, I confidently beseech You to grant me the grace of (here state your petition).

Glory be to the Father... (three times).

The above poem came to me a few days back when I was feeling a tad blue.  I was talking to Jesus and saying how I was feeling like I don't really belong.  Where do I belong?  I've been feeling like that especially lately.  So today I typed it up and upon completion the above song was playing on Jackie's I-Pad.  It fit perfectly!

I am in need of help.  I feel strongly the attacks of the enemy.  The intercession of the saints is powerful!  We can't even begin to try to go it alone in this wicked world.  We must have help from above.  Help me and my family Saint Gabriel!  Help this world!  We need you!

Novena to St. Gabriel the Archangel

Saint Gabriel the Archangel, I venerate you as the Angel of the Incarnation, because God specially appointed you to bear the messages concerning the God-Man to Daniel, Zechariah, and the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Give me a very tender and devoted love for the Incarnate Word and his Blessed Mother, more like your own.

I venerate you also as the "Strength from God", because you are the giver of God's strength, consoler and comforter chosen to strengthen God's faithful and teach them important truths.  I ask for the grace of  a special power of the will to strive for holiness of life.  Steady my resolutions; renew my courage; comfort and console me in the problems, trials and sufferings of daily living, as you consoled our Savior in His agony and Mary in her sorrows and Joseph in his trials.  I put my confidence in you.

Saint Gabriel, I ask you especially for this favor; (mention your request).  Through your earnest love for the Son of God made man and for His Blessed Mother, I beg of you, intercede for me that my request may be granted, if it be God's holy will.

Pray for us, Saint Gabriel the Archangel.  That we may be worthy of the promises of Christ.

The Secret Place

Psalm 11...

God's Whistle

November 9, 2018 at around 3:36 a.m. I was awoke by a whistle.  I heard it on my right side.  It definitely was a whistle, not a horn or voice.

In the morning I opened my first Rhema word for the day and it read...

"Take courage, get up, the Master is calling you."

I also looked up some scriptures regarding the whistle...

Zecharia 10:8 "I will whistle for them to gather them together, for I have redeemed them; and they will be as numerous as they were before."

Isaiah 5:26 "And He will lift up a sign to the nations afar off, and will whistle to them from the ends of the earth; and behold they shall come with speed swiftly."

Also, that same day while my mom and I were at Walmart, we passed a couple, they were talking to each other as they walked, and exactly upon passing me I hear the gentleman say,  "It's a good crossover."  What makes this significant is I just had been reading an article by Neville Johnson called "Crossing Over".

Then as we shopped, I said "Mom, listen to the song playing!"  It was the song "Africa", which I spoke of here.,, Music, Music, Music.

Then to top it all off as we walked out of Walmart, my phone rumbled because a video came up.  The video was "The Shofar Blows!"  As I'm pushing my cart in the parking lot, I take out my phone and as I read this there is a car horn going off right next to us!

Everything happens for a reason!  There are no coincidences.  The time is at hand.  The time is now.

We need Jesus!  

Stay close to Him!  

He is our everything!

"Having the eyes of your heart enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of His might."

Ephesians 1:18-19

After I typed this the Inspirational Devotion for the Day popped up on my phone with the above scripture!
