Who Am I

Last night after I posted the song below "I Can Only Imagine", I was on Youtube looking at other songs.  A song came to my attention, it is "Who Am I" by Casting Crowns.  I listened to it more than once.  I really liked it.  For some reason it especially touched my heart and I felt nudged to put it on my blog right away, but thought I'll wait until tomorrow because I already posted a song.  

This morning I went to Lana Vawser's website and was shocked to see that some exact lines from the song "Who Am I" were in her message.  Here is an excerpt...

"Such love surrounded me... Jesus spoke again, "You are enough!  You were enough!  Not because of what you do, but because of Who You Are!!!!  You Are Mine!!!!"

The underlined words are essentially the chorus of  the "Who Am I" song!  No wonder I was nudged to publish it here!  No wonder it touched my heart so!  I should have listened then, but I am listening now.  Sorry Jesus for not responding.  Here is the song...  Enjoy!!!

But that's not all!  As I read further into Lana's message she mentions being awakened to our "Own Song". Interesting how over a week ago I asked the Lord for a song.  I asked Him to help me just play a song, no sheet music, but just a song that I can sit down and play out of my head.  He gave my a song on my piano within an hour's time!!  I play that song now all the time.  It's Jesus' and my song!

Here is an excerpt from Lana's message today regarding this...

"You are coming through this process as you give Me your "Yes" and obey Me, healed of this striving, this performance, awakened to your Own Song!  The expression, message and gifting I have placed within each of you that is uniquely different!  Different "songs" are going to rise up all across the world in accelerated ways in this season.  The "songs" being the life message, the gifting, the anointing I have given you and you will sing your own song with confidence in My love and not comparison".
