There's another song called "Dig Down Deeper" that plays on the movie "Secret Wings". Once again I've heard it plenty, but never paid a lot of attention to the lyrics. And... once again, it started playing and I sensed Jesus telling me to pay attention to the lyrics.
I sensed that I am to Dig Down Deeper. Remember my post about thirst? About Drinking Deep? We also need to Dig Deep. Deeper into what He is telling us. Deeper into our prayers. When I actually paid attention to the lyrics, I was amazed. Here they are...

With all the everyday distractions around here, I've been backsliding. I wake up in the morning with good intentions, and before I know it the day is done and I've not given the time or prayers over to God that I promised I would.
Jesus tries all different ways to get our attention. I'm surprised I haven't seen Him doing back flips in front of Me!
Upon waking this morning I sensed Him to say again... Dig Deep! I need to prioritize and make Him first, not just upon waking or late in the day. He deserves more of our time and prayers. The distractions of this world need to step away. After all...
I don't want to lose this game!

Update: A Huge Confirmation! After I pushed "publish" on this post, I asked Jesus if He liked the post I just made. I randomly opened my Holy Spirit Devotional to this!
Spend More Time With Me! You'll need to make adjustments in your schedule to fulfill My highest call on your life. Yes, a change in the way you spend your time is required to reach your destiny. You pray, but you must extend your prayer time. You worship, but you must press in a little Deeper. You study, but there's so much more I want to show you! If you'll commit to spending thirty minutes more with Me in the evenings, even though you are tired, I will bring rest, restoration, refreshing, revelation and still more blessings to your spirit, soul and body. I want to spend more time with you. You know where to find Me.
