Strength

Strength - the quality or state of being strong, a good or beneficial quality or attribute of person or thing, advantage, asset, talent, skill.

Our strength comes from Him.  As I was pondering "Strength" I randomly opened to this excerpt from Streams in the Desert (Vol. 2)...

"At Jesus' feet that is our place of privilege and of blessing, and here it is that we are to be educated and fitted for the practical duties of life.  Here we are to renew our strength while we wait on Him, and to learn how to mount on wings as eagles, and here we are to become possessed of that true knowledge which is power.

Here we are to learn how real work is to be done, and to be armed with the true motive power to do it.  Here we are to find solace amidst both the trials of work and the trials of life and here we are to anticipate something of the blessedness of heaven amidst the days of earth.  For to sit at His feet is indeed to be in heavenly places, and to gaze upon His glory is to do what we shall never tire of doing yonder." Excerpt from Still Small Voice April 22, 2016,  "I want to talk to you about cleaving to Me and the sweetness you feel in your heart.  Challenges are overcome by those who are in love.  Being in love with Me is your greatest strength, in that it makes you want to choose for Me, rather than for yourself."

Our strength is in Him,

 That is where we begin

When we want to flee

 We need to bend our knee 

at His Beloved Feet  

For our strength is in Him.
