Will He Find Faith?

The reading at mass on Sunday, October 16...

"Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart, saying, 'In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear God and did not respect man.  There was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying, 'Give me legal protection from my
opponent.'  For a while he was unwilling; but afterward he said to himself, 'Even though I do not fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow bothers me, I will give her legal protection, otherwise by continually coming she will wear me out."  And the Lord said, "Hear what the unrighteous judge said, now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them?  I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly.  However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?"  Luke 18:1-8

Though we are weary in this world that grows darker by the day, God asks that we persevere in prayer.  I've been hearing a lot lately... "When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?"

Here is an excerpt from "Behold I Come" on October 17, 2016...

"Where will you stand in that hour in which everything changes?  For I tell you, in an hour, on a day you know not, your existence here will be forever altered.  In a moment of time, nothing will ever be the same again.  Will your faith stand the test?  Will you rest in My promises and stand on Me, solid ground or will you succumb to the madness that will ensue?  You have been given ample time to prepare yourselves.  The days of mercy now give way to the hour of justice."

The "Broken"

"We're all a little broken, aren't we?"

Said recently by my husband, Nick, in regards to some people that have recently crossed our path.  Nick also said,

"You don't throw people away.  You just don't do that."

As days go by we realize more and more just how "broken" we all are.  We live in a fallen world and we are broken.  

But, the good news is... the broken are the ones that Jesus will rise up and use for His Glory!

Here is an excerpt from a message given by our Lord to Priscilla Van Sutphin...

"I have chosen for Myself a most peculiar army for this hour.  They're peculiarly precious unto Me and I will make them My jewels.  I'm gathering and I'm scattering, I'm winnowing and I'm perfecting and I'm really pleased with My work.  You see, I can see that My children are really beginning to know My depth of My love for them.  Little by little, grace by grace, more is being deposited and they will come forth with a sweet fragrance in them that will capture the hearts of all around them.  Alleluhia!"

"I can handle a handicapped child, I just can't handle a dead one."

This is a statement made by my husband when our little girl was born with Down Syndrome and was having heart issues.  I'll never forget it.  That day I had increased respect for my husband.

I remember thinking how in today's society a large majority of people in this world would probably say just the opposite... 

"I can handle a dead child,  I just can't handle a handicapped one."  

There is a high percentage of abortion after a diagnosis of Down Syndrome.  

Society is filled with those who think they have it all figured out.  Many times those in very high places think they dictate who is worthy of living and who is not.  They look down on and scorn the ones with Down Syndrome, Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (AIS), read about it here... AIS,  the alcoholics and drug addicted ones, the homeless, the mentally impaired, the old, the physically impaired, the littlest and most defenseless ones, etc... 

These are the very ones that God uses in the most extraordinary ways.

I Will Provide

On Saturday I had to throw out a soap dispenser that had broken.  I was going to buy another one next time I went to the store.

No one here knew it broke and I had pitched it.  The following day my daughter Jill's boyfriend comes over and has something for me.  He said he had some soap for us.  I looked at him puzzled and said, "Soap?"  He said that his mother works at Bath and Body Works and she gave him liquid foaming soap and dispenser to give to us!  He said he thought it was odd too.

It really didn't dawn on me until I walked into the bathroom and remembered that I did need one.  Then I heard... "See, I will provide!"

Oh my goodness Lord, you are so good!  Then I was led to randomly open my "Jesus Calling" (by Sarah Young) devotional to pg. 113...

"Peace is my continual gift to you.  It flows abundantly from My throne of grace.  Just as the Israelites could not store up manna for the future but had to gather it daily, so it is with My Peace.  The day-by-day collecting of manna kept My people aware of their dependence on Me.  Similarily, I give you sufficient Peace for the present when you come to me by prayer and petition with thanksgiving.  If I gave you permanent Peace, independent of My Presence, you might fall into the trap of self-sufficiency.  May that never be!"

"I have designed you to need Me moment by moment.  As your awareness of your neediness increases, so does your realization of My abundant sufficiency.  I can meet every one of your needs without draining My resources at all.  Approach My throne of grace with bold confidence, receiving My Peace with a thankful heart." Like Blessed Mother had said to Luz de Maria...

"Open your spiritual eyes so that you see the miracles that are constantly occurring before your eyes." 

What a loving and caring Father we have!

A Ball of Light!

My daughter, Nicole and her family were here for the weekend.  They live a couple hours away.  We had a nice visit.

While Nicole and I were chatting I mentioned "The Lion of Judah" above our home and asked if she had seen my post about it.  She said that she hadn't had time.  So, I got my computer and showed it to her.  Her mouth dropped in amazement.  

We also discussed some of the "happenings" around here especially recently.  We spoke of the "ball of lights", colored orbs, The Lion of Judah, etc...

In the evening they decided to leave the two oldest grandchildren here with us to sleep and they would take the two younger ones and sleep at the in-laws, since room here is sometimes an issue.  So we gave hugs and said that we'd see each other in the morning.

An hour later I open my ipad and see this message from Nicole received at 9:52 p.m (which was the time they left here)...

"Just saw a ball of light fly around in our back up camera!"

I praised Jesus that He allowed Nicole to see for herself what a few of us here have already been seeing.

All Praise to You Lord Jesus Christ!
