Who Do You Say That I Am?

Random Rhema word on June 1, 2018... "Who do you say that I am?"

I replied, "You are Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior."

I reclicked on the Rhema word and it read...

"I believe in you, too."

I was a little stunned how the next Rhema word played right into the conversation.  A sense of awe and calm came over me.  I had been asking Jesus what my true propose was.  I said I was feeling purposeless, not knowing what I am actually doing.  I've been feeling like I've been in a "lull".  Even with this blog I'm in a "lull."  I asked Jesus, "You know me better than I know myself so what is going on with me right now?"  I sensed I heard "It's a matter of Trust." That made me stop and think.

 My mother said she's feeling the same way.  She said she's been feeling a little useless in waiting.  We all feel that we are "waiting" for something.  But not quite sure what or what we are to do.  So we keep waiting... for something.

Last night while lying in bed I kept asking Jesus if He would go on a walk with me and just talk.  I needed to go on a walk with Him.  As I started to fall asleep I started to dream...

I saw Jesus walking along a grassy river bank.  As I watched Him walk He bent down and picked up a large turtle.    He looked at me smiling and said... "Look what I have!"  He stretched His arms out to show me the turtle.  I thought to myself... that's a turtle.  Why is He showing me a turtle?  He then placed the turtle back down along the river bank and it slowly went back into the water.  Then that was all, I fell into a deeper sleep.

This morning I pondered the Rhema words from yesterday.  Then I again randomly clicked for a word and this is how it read...

"The rabbit ran circles around the turtle.  But the turtle won the race... The works of God proceed slowly.  Don't be in a hurry."

Oh My!  Again I was stunned.  What are the chances?

There are so many people who are "waiting".  Waiting for healing, waiting for a better world, waiting for a better future for their children.  Waiting.  Waiting for something.  I can see frustration from many people.

But, as the Rhema word read...

"...The works of God proceed slowly.  Don't be in a hurry."

Everything is in God's timing.

Slow and steady wins the race. 

And so we wait...

Father knows best.

On my phone I get daily Inspirational Scriptures.  Right after I pushed publish on this post I clicked on the Inspirations for today and it read...

Psalm 33:20-22
Our soul has waited for the Lord.  He is our help and our shield.  For our heart rejoices in Him, because we have trusted in His Holy Name.  Let your loving kindness be on us, Lord, since we have hoped in You."
